Terms & Conditions for Boudoir by Jordan – Luxurious Session

The Luxurious Boudoir Experience

​

(a) The Luxurious Boudoir Experience Includes:

​

  1. The Boudoir by Jordan Client Prep Guide (including What to Wear)

  2. Professional makeup including lashes and loose curls

  3. A 2.5-hour block of time reserved for the photoshoot itself

  4. Head-to-toe posing and expression guidance while building confidence

  5. The ability to bring as many outfits as time allows

  6. A personalized ordering session to design a custom collection and place your order

  7. A print credit toward Boudoir by Jordan print collections only (or 50% of the print credit toward Boudoir by Jordan digital sets only)

(b) The Luxurious Boudoir Experience Does NOT Include:

  1. Any service or benefit not explicitly listed above

  2. Any digital images, printed images, or products without an additional purchase

​

(c) The Luxurious Boudoir Experience Requires:

  1. A session fee

  2. An additional purchase at the ordering session

​

(d)

The session fee is non-refundable, even if the Client reschedules, cancels, or no-shows.

​

(e)

If the Client cancels or no-shows, Boudoir by Jordan retains the session fee and the Client is required to pay an $800 cancellation/no-show fee immediately. This fee covers expenses incurred at booking and replaces the required additional purchase agreed to at booking.

(f)

The Client selects her session date and time via the online booking system, agrees to these terms, and acknowledges that an additional purchase is required. Upon booking, Boudoir by Jordan reserves the time exclusively and incurs immediate expenses.

​

  1. The Client agrees to these terms even if she did not read them in full and understands the session fee is non-refundable and the $800 cancellation/no-show fee still applies.

​

Client Expectations Prior to the Session

(a) The Client must ask all session and ordering questions prior to the session date.


(b) The Client must read the What to Wear section of the Prep Guide.
 

(c) The Client is responsible for spray tanning if desired and understands professional spray tanning is recommended.
 

(d) The Client must try on all outfits prior to the session.
 

(e) Wrinkled outfits must be steamed at home.
 

(f) Failure to properly prepare may result in $50 per-image retouching fees and delayed delivery.
 

(g) Hair must be clean and dry; skin clean and moisturized. Client must wear a button-down or zip-up top to hair & makeup.

Privacy; Model Release; Revocation

(a) Boudoir by Jordan keeps sessions private by default. No images are shared without written consent via a Model Release.

  1. Verbal permission may be given for hair & makeup content.

  2. Written consent is required once photography begins.

​

(b) The Client may revoke consent at any time. Public images already released may not be fully retrievable.

​

Hair & Makeup

(a) Hair & makeup begins 1.5–2 hours prior to session time.
(b) A button-up or zip-up top is required.
(c) The Boudoir by Jordan signature look includes loose curls, dramatic eyes with lashes, shaped brows, contouring, color correction, and a nude-to-rosy lip.

​

  1. Changes must be requested before leaving the chair.

  2. Client must sign a hair & makeup approval form.

​

(d) Neither Boudoir by Jordan nor the artist is responsible for personal taste preferences after approval.

​

  1. Retouching changes requested later are $50 per image.

  2. Custom hair/makeup requests may result in images differing from the portfolio.

​

(e) Clients late 20+ minutes or arriving with wet hair will be rescheduled per policy or treated as a cancellation.

 

Artistic Style; Photography Session

(a) Boudoir by Jordan retains artistic discretion in all creative aspects.
(b) Client acknowledges familiarity with Boudoir by Jordan’s evolving style.
(c) Images may not be rejected based on taste or appearance.
(d) Requested poses are not guaranteed due to limitations.

(e) Product samples and the Boudoir by Jordan menu are shown after the session.

​

  1. No images/products are included without purchase.

  2. Clients may photograph the menu.

​

(f) Ordering appointments must be scheduled within 10 business days.

 

Liquidated Damages

Boudoir by Jordan may invoice $800 for:

  1. Cancellation

  2. No-show

  3. Missing ordering appointment

  4. Failure to purchase

  5. Harassment

  6. Payment plan default

  7. Chargebacks

Copyright; Theft of Property; Failure to Purchase

(a) Images remain property of Boudoir by Jordan until purchased.
(b) Unauthorized copying violates federal law and carries $750 per image minimum fines.
(c) A $500 penalty applies before any work resumes.
(d) Images are only released after full payment via secure gallery.

(e) Failure to purchase within 10 business days constitutes theft of services, subject to $800 damages and legal action.

​

Chargebacks / Payment Disputes

(a) Pre-session disputes require a second payment plus fees and $800 prepayment.
(b) Post-session disputes follow theft and payment default policies.

 

Proofs; Ordering; Final Sale; Payment Plans

• Proofs include basic global retouching only
• Full retouching applies only to printed/album images
• Orders are final and non-refundable
• Payment plans up to 12 months
• Failed payments incur $5/day fees
• Defaults result in forfeiture and $800 damages

Retouching; Delivery; Additional Orders

• Retouching begins after payment
• Delivery within 14 days of final payment
• One-week approval window
• Files retained for one year

​

Turnaround & Rush Fees

• Standard delivery: 8 weeks
• Rush fees: $50 per week plus lab fees if applicable

​

Product Errors; Shipping Issues

(a) Client-approved errors: 50% replacement fee
(b) Studio errors: one reprint or $150 goodwill
(c) Boudoir by Jordan is not responsible for carrier losses or incorrect addresses

​

Exclusivity; Attendance; Conduct

• Boudoir by Jordan is the exclusive photographer
• No guests without written permission
• Harassment results in immediate termination and $800 damages

 

Lost Personal Items

Boudoir by Jordan is not responsible for personal belongings.

​

Rescheduling by Client

• One reschedule allowed within 4 weeks
• Fees range from $150–$499 depending on notice
• Fees convert to print credit (6-month validity)

​

Cancellations by Client

• Session fee retained
• $800 cancellation/no-show fee applies

​

Rescheduling or Cancellation by Boudoir by Jordan

• Rescheduling due to illness, emergencies, or weather
• Substitute photographer may be used
• Full refund only if Boudoir by Jordan cancels entirely

​

Sessions Booked on Sale

• Sale terms override standard terms
• Sale credits valid for 6 months if cancelled

​

Limit of Liability

Liability is limited to payments made. In case of data loss, client may choose refund or reshoot.

​

Unpredictable Events (Force Majeure)

Includes natural disasters, pandemics, emergencies, accidents, or government orders. Rescheduling allowed without fee.

​

Miscellany

• Entire agreement
• Illinois law governs
• Venue: Union County, Illinois
• Invalid clauses do not void remaining terms

​

Construction

This contract is interpreted fairly and not against either party.
