If you have a body… Then boudoir photography is for you! Absolutely! Boudoir is about a self love experience. Think of it as a documentation of your bodies journey through life, a sort of way to appreciate the skin your in and all the accomplishments, and scars you’ve gathered along the way. Boudoir is more about seeking self validation that comes from vulnerability. For some, it’s this moment where we finally SEE ourselves and all of our flaws as unique perfection. I often hear people, with an elated voice, see their images for the first time and say… “IS THAT REALLY ME?”

But… What if I’m not getting married and what if I don’t have a significant other to gift these images?

What if I told you that everyone I have ever photographed that uttered those questions, has a realization that these images were in fact for themselves and that the even or their spouse the images were intended for were more of a secondary prize? I think that over time we often lose ourselves and boudoir can be the catalyst to help us rediscover our sexuality and give us a reason to be ourselves in a space where we wont be judged. But what’s wild is that even though you have to plan a session, it almost feels like a sort of spontaneous adventure.
